Jaime of The BackPorch Boutique began sewing soon after my first Grateful Dead Show in 1994. She says, "I wanted a hippie dress more than anything, and asked for one for christmas. Instead of a dress, my mom bought me a pattern and some Fabric, and thus began my infatuation with sewing.
I am a self taught seamstress, with little direction/helo along the way. My designs have really evolved over the past 12 years. I am happy to have made the decision to GO GREEN with my Business. I have been online since 2000, and have had a focus on Hand dyed Hemp Since 2004."
She also adds," My own original hemp dress pattern are definitely my Trademark at The BackPOrch BOutique and they are always a big seller...skirts always do well too. And, with chilly weather on its way, pants are a very big seller right now."
